BellsOnTime is a Wi-Fi-enabled automatic school bell system developed in South Africa by RCL Technologies. It allows schools to automatically ring their existing electric school bell according to schedules configured from the BellsOnTime mobile app.

Create different bell schedules for normal school days, examinations, shortened days, sport days and special events. Once a schedule has been configured, the BellsOnTime device operates automatically so staff do not need to ring bells manually throughout the day.

BellsOnTime is designed for primary schools, high schools and school residences, and is already in use at Oakdale Landbou Skool.

How Does the BellsOnTime School Bell System Work?

The BellsOnTime controller is connected to your school's bell system by an electrician. The controller connects to Wi-Fi and receives the bell schedules configured in the BellsOnTime mobile app.

Once configured, the device automatically activates the school bell at the required times. Bell schedules are stored on the device so normal operation can continue even if the internet connection is temporarily unavailable.

A manual override switch is also provided, allowing staff to ring the bell immediately whenever required.

Automate Your Existing School Bell

BellsOnTime is designed to control an existing compatible electric school bell installation. In many cases there is no need to replace the school's bell itself — the BellsOnTime controller is installed into the existing bell circuit by an electrician.

This provides schools with modern automatic scheduling and mobile-app control without requiring an entirely new bell system.
